Castleman is founder and director of UVAs Nudge⁴ Solutions Lab which uses big data to devise effective behavioral strategies that encourage students to apply to and complete college. Castlemans early career as a high school teacher and administrator reinforced his belief in the power of education and its importance to economic mobility for low-income and first-generation college students.
